Our carob honey is produced from carob trees of Cretan variety at an altitude of 500 – 700 m.
It is a 100% natural local product. It has a dark chocolate brown colour and looks like honey made by bees. It has a pleasant scent, smooth texture and tastes like chocolate and caramel.
It has incredible nutritional value and can be used just like honey; use it to naturally sweeten cakes, biscuits, pancakes, doughnuts, ice-creams, and bread or add it in sauces for salads. It is an alternative natural sweetener that can replace chocolate and cocoa in bread and flour confectionery.
“Giakoumakis Farms” carob honey comes in a 200 gram glass jar in order to remain fresh until the last drop.
